To sell to Germany, you need to register with LUCID, which is simply put a packaging tax system. You need to have a German VAT number or you have to apply for OSS or One Stop Shop system, which greatly facilitates taxation for trade between EU countries.

At the same time, it is necessary to cooperate with a so-called guarantor or partner who will guide you through the obligations regarding licensing (for example, the company Lizenzero) and packaging recycling (Interseroh). The rest is similar to domestic sales.

1. Register in the Central Packaging Register LUCID. After successful registration, you will receive an individual LUCID registration number by e-mail.

2. Then conclude a licensing agreement with a selected dual system (for example, Interseroh+ company Lizenzero). That is, with a collector to whom you will pay for the collection and recycling of packaging.

3. Finally, you state the name of your dual system and report the amount of packaging to your LUCID account.

The TIN is not required elsewhere. It is the Tax Identification Number (TIN), which is used to identify a person with a tax liability. The taxpayer is registered with the tax office under this number.

A customer ticket allows customers to inquire about the status of their order through the Kaufland Seller Portal or send a query directly to the seller, who should respond as soon as possible.

Onboarding to the Omnicado platform and connecting to the Kaufland Global Marketplace system can take one to several weeks depending on:

– The status of your registration in the Kaufland Seller Portal

– The total number of products you want to list

– The quality of your product data

– The correct categorization of products for listing

We need product data with EAN codes from you and your registration on one of the Kaufland marketplaces to be created. Furthermore, it will be necessary to ensure a connection to your e-commerce solution, order fulfillment management, and an integrated accounting system.

First, we need an electronic signature on the cooperation agreement with Omnicado. Then you create an account on our platform. After registering on Kaufland Global Marketplace, your e-commerce solution, shipping system, and accounting system will be connected, allowing you to manage all business operations efficiently and without any problems.
